Privacy Policy

LTC Toolkit ("the App") is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

1. Audio Processing — Local Only

All audio processing in LTC Toolkit happens entirely on your device. The microphone is used only when you actively use the Reader feature to decode SMPTE timecode. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted off-device. The microphone stream is processed in real time and discarded immediately.

The Generator outputs audio through your device's speakers or connected audio interface. No audio data is retained or shared.

2. No Account Required

LTC Toolkit does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-in, no registration, and no personal information collected.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No location data
• No device identifiers (beyond what the ad SDK requires — see below)
• No usage analytics (the App has no analytics SDK)
• No crash reports are automatically sent
• No audio recordings

4. Advertising (Free Tier - iOS Only)

The free tier of LTC Toolkit displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier / IDFA) to serve relevant ads.

Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

If you upgrade to Pro via the in-app purchase, all advertisements are permanently removed and AdMob's SDK is no longer active in your session.

5. In-App Purchases

The Pro Unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). The App does not receive or store your payment information. Purchase history and entitlement are managed by your Apple ID. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Data Sharing

LTC Toolkit does not share any personal data with third parties. The App itself collects nothing, stores nothing, and transmits nothing. The only third-party service embedded in the App is Google AdMob (free tier only), which operates under its own privacy policy.

7. Children's Privacy

LTC Toolkit does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App is a professional audio tool and is not directed at children.

8. Your Rights

Since the App collects no personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. If you have purchased the Pro unlock through the App Store, your purchase is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy and refund policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an App Store update.
